Dr. Long Gave Me Twin Babies

For nine years, my husband and I struggled with infertility treatments ranging from IUIs to IVF. I had regular weekly appointments with Dr. Long beginning about 4-5 months prior to the last embryo transfer and had followed her customized treatment plan for me: She prescribed specific meridian points combinations at different phases of my conception. Then fine tune the prescription in accordance with my body’s reaction during the whole the 5 months of treatment. In addition, Dr. Long used different techniques, including acupuncture, electric acupuncture, scalp needling ,moxibustion and Chinese herb formulas, to achieve optimum results for me. Dr. Long did not even stop with such sophisticated medical plan yet. She also helped me manage my stress and anxiety, as well as lifestyle adaption – warming foods, no cold foods or beverages, lots of nutritious soups I made at home. She also asked me to keep my feet warm, by wearing socks and enclosed shoes rather than sandals, even wearing socks to bed.

During my first visit in July, Dr. Long asked me to be positive, patient, stick to the routine of treatment for at least 3 to 6 months, and strictly follow her medical orders.

In December 2018, after all these years, we finally got what we hoped for. A positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound that showed not one but two sacs!!

Her care for me didn’t end after we had that positive test. At 6 weeks, I had the flu and I texted to get help with my fever. She provided ways to help lower my fever without me having to take more medication, which I couldn’t. Dr. Long also periodically checked in on me to see how I was feeling. And I’m very pleased to say that I am now at 25 ½ weeks, with my twin boys.

I felt that she cares for each and every one of her patients; even adjusting her schedule so I didn’t miss an appointment that week.

Dr. Iris, she is really great

When I first went to Team Acupuncture I could not stand up straight and I was in a lot of pain. My first fall from a horse was when I was a year old and after that I had many more. I used to be a jumper but had to stop at the age of 21 because of back pain. I am now 28 years old and used to live with constant back and neck pain. I was able to feel the difference after the first visit, after the second visit my pain was almost gone and I am able to walk normal again. I really recommend Dr. Iris she is really great!

Everything improved

I have suffered with chronic lower back pain for 30+ years due to a childhood injury and a lifetime of contact sports. I regularly participated in physical therapy and chiropractic treatment with limited results. My discomfort became so severe earlier this year that I received 3 sessions of cortisone injections into my spine. The relief was minimal and short lived. My next step was surgery and a spinal fusion. I limped into Ms Long’s office as a last ditch effort to ease my pain. After one session I walked out feeling exponentially better and within 2 days I experienced a sensation I hadn’t had in two decades, comfort. Not just pain relief but a feeling of being at ease. I’m am now able to weight train and practice Jiu Jitsu with my son again. If I can offer one piece of advice it would be to not wait. My quality of life has dramatically increased do to the acupuncture I received.

I went into Team Acupuncture with a lot of discomfort in my neck and rear shoulder. I had no idea what to expect being it was my first time receiving acupuncture. Dr. Iris made me feel extremely comfortable; using not only the acupuncture needles but also heat, electric stimulation, and a new technique to me: cupping. Walking out of the office my neck and shoulder feel so much better! Cannot wait to make my next appointment.

Dr. Long does a good job

I’m Caretha Cason and a friend/coworker told me about acupuncture because I was having pain on my foot /heel where I couldn’t walk hardly and I was goin to the foot dr. which I’ve already been before several times and they gave me a diagnostic of a heel spur. My coworker said try acupuncture because I had the same problem you having and I went to Dr.Long and she heeled me and I have no more pain in my foot. So I tried her and I’ve been to her 3 times already and I can feel the difference in my foot/heel. It doesn’t hurt as much. She also is treating me for my migraines and stress I must say she is a very polite and compassionate lady. Dr. Long does such a good job.

An extraordinarily nice acupuncture clinic; very pleasant, relaxing and beautifully decorated environment; very helpful, empathetic and knowledgeable acupuncturist. I have now been to 5 different acupuncturists. Dr. Long is the best one I have met up to this point. I’ve gotten a lot of attention from her and she puts much more effort and time into trying to get me healthy than past acupuncturists. Acupuncture Helps Equestrians

I have scoliosis which is a deviation in the column. I have this condition since I was a teenager, never really bothers me. Start bothering me when I bought a new horse, and in order for me to ride him in the ride way I have to use muscles that because of the curvature on my column I haven’t using them, at that point the pain started. The pain was really strong during the night, I couldn’t sleep well, I woke up with numbness on my left side and kind of headache. I decided to tried acupuncture and luckily found Dr. Long. She is amazing, in a matter of ten sessions my pain is gone (although I know the curvature is there) . Thank to her I can ride my horse and do my gym routine. It was a great, and I don’t regret it a minute. Thank you Dr. Long.

Visiting Dr. Long’s Practice Has Greatly Improved My Health!

I initially visited Dr Long for treatment for TMJ and neck pain. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I was not sure what to expect. Dr. Long is very kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She explained the process and as she addressed ailment. After my first treatment, my TMJ pain was instantly better. While my neck and shoulders were being treated, I fell asleep on the table. The experience was so relaxing and calming; my tension pain melted away and I felt so much better. Previously I would get regular massages to deal with stress related pain but after just one session of acupuncture with Dr. Long I realized this was far superior and more effective. For my second session, I asked Dr. Long if she could treat the plantar facitis in my foot. This condition has been plaguing me for over 2 years. I’ve tried inserts, splints, sleeping devices, stretching and targeted exercises massage, ice, lotions and potions… I think everything except surgery. After just 1 treatment, my pain from plantar facitis was GONE. I forgot what it was like for both feet to feel normal and pain free. It’s been a few weeks and the pain has not returned, despite taking a vacation requiring a lot of walking. This was no placebo effect, the pain from foot immediately disappeared after just 1 session. I Trust Dr. Long With My Eyes Closed During the Treatment!

I’m very pleased with the experience and results from this place. I was suffering for over six months of a pain in both of my shoulders due to weight lifting at the gym. I went so many time back and forth to the orthopedic for x-rays, MRI, medications, therapy and unfortunately the pain was still there. I work in the construction field and having this pain prevent me from my daily work physical activity and also from my daily life. I have a 2 year old and it was very hard even to lift him up. Dr. Long Is a Gifted Healer

Dr Long is a gifted healer. She’s extremely compassionate and intuitive. I tried Acupuncture for the first time for insomnia. A friend recommended it and I was desperate enough to try anything! After only a few sessions I started sleeping through the night again.
On another occasion I had a pinched nerve that was causing back pain. After a single session combining cupping and Acupuncture, amazingly the pain was gone.
I don’t really understand how, but it really works and Dr Long is amazing.

After a seminar on a cruise I was lucky enough to run into Dr. Yue (Iris) Long when going to Best Buy. A sign offered a free interview and session. It has been the best experience. You see I suffer from lower back pain and up to now nothing really worked and the pain would come back and many times made me bed ridden for days. Since seeing Dr. Long I no longer get the pain that would side line me for days. Dr. Long is very thorough and has a great caring personality. The offices are new and very well maintained. My name is David and I’ve been searching for relief of sciatic pain. I’ve tried every thing short of surgery. While surfing the internet looking for new ideas, I came across acupuncture treatment, something I’ve never tried. however, if it’s gonna relieve the pain I’m all in.

I made an appointment with Dr. Long. The morning I arrived at her office I could barely walk. I was in so much pain. The pain was a solid ten. we sat down and had a conference talk ,explaining how acupuncture worked. I was impressed. I was amazed of the progressive pain relief during my first several visits. After ten treatments I can say I’m virtually pain free. With rest and stretchering exercise every morning, we beat the beast.

Dr. Long is very professional in her practice. she’s very polite, understanding, thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. A treatment takes about an hour. She checks on you every ten minutes to make sure that you are comfortable. With the soothing background music, lights dimmed, you get into a relax mood only to let your endorphin do the healing. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs health care. Her facility is sanitize, private and comfortable.
